Bikers Egg Run March 2024

Bikers' Egg Run, 17th March 2024

Approximately 278 motorcycles roared into Grantham on March 17th bringing over 900 chocolate eggs for children in the town.  These were piled high on tables at the Meres Leisure Centre where they were received by the Mayor of Grantham, Mark Whittington.  The chocolate eggs were bagged up by our volunteers, Charter Trustees, District Councillors and Police cadets.

Volunteers from our church then brought them into the Dudley House School hall adjacent to our church.  There the eggs were sorted into types and filled ten tables.  They were then counted into large bags for distribution to 24 organisations that help children in our community.

Like the Christmas toy run, the egg run was started 33 years ago by John Bartlett and friends of the Nottingham Triumph Owners M.C.C.
